創業300年の菊間瓦の窯元が製作した、瓦と炭のW赤外線で美味しく焼ける七輪。古来より魔除けとして屋根に飾ってある鬼瓦をモチーフにし、暮らしに取り入れやすい七輪としてデザインした。菊間瓦の美しい色合い「いぶし瓦」の技法を活かしており、釉薬や塗料を使わず、光沢のある深い銀色に仕上げる。

A shichirin that can grill deliciously with the double infrared rays of the tiles and charcoal, produced by the Kikuma Tile Kiln, which has been in business for 300 years. It is based on the motif of the devil tiles that have adorned roofs since ancient times as a protection against evil, and was designed as a tool that can be easily incorporated into daily life. The beautifully coloured ‘ibushigawara’ technique of Kikuma tiles is utilised to create a shiny, deep silver colour without glaze or paint.
