カステラをモチーフにしたティッシュケース。長崎県の老舗木工所の建具や家具の技術を活かした、長崎の新しい贈り物。ウォールナットと米ヒバの3層構造にすることで、カステラを表現。ウォールナットの高級感のある焦げ茶色でザラメ部分、米ヒバの淡い黄色で生地部分に見立てた。生活空間に馴染み、美しい木目や木のぬくもりを身近に感じられるデザインに仕上げた。

Tissue case with a castella motif. A new gift from Nagasaki, utilising the fittings and furniture techniques of a long-established woodworking company in Nagasaki. The three-layered structure of walnut and rice hiba expresses a castella. The luxurious dark brown of the walnut is used for the rough texture, while the pale yellow of the rice hiba is used for the dough. The design was created to fit in with the living space and to bring the beautiful grain and warmth of the wood close to the home.
