自宅で楽しむ跳び箱。トレーニングベンチとして、自宅でも本格的なトレーニングから気軽なストレッチまで行うことができる。ふと学校に行っていた頃を思い出す跳び箱を、暮らしに馴染むようにリデザインした。家庭用に絶妙なサイズになっており、耐荷重200kgで長持ちする頑強な構造になっている。学校向けに10,000台以上の跳び箱を生産してきた、富山の運動器具メーカーが製作。

Jumping jacks for fun at home. As a training bench, it can be used at home for everything from serious training to casual stretching. The jumping box, which suddenly reminds you of your school days, has been redesigned to fit in with your life. It is exquisitely sized for home use and has a robust structure with a load capacity of 200 kg for long-lasting use. Produced by a Toyama-based sports equipment manufacturer that has produced more than 10,000 jumping boxes for schools.

鳥獣戯画の防災笛。 鯖江の眼鏡職人が眼鏡と同じ素材・技術・工程を用いて、 このホイッスルを製作。 防災笛としての機能性である音に徹底的にこだわっている。人の耳に聞こえやすく、 救助犬にも聞こえる高音域の音を実現。この防災笛は環境にも人にも優しい、めがねの素材を使用している。主に綿花を原料とする植物性樹脂であるセルロースアセテートで作られている。

Disaster prevention whistle with CHOJUGIGA motif. This whistle is made by Sabae eyeglasses craftsman using the same materials, techniques and processes as used for eyeglasses. The functionality of the whistle as a disaster prevention whistle – the sound – has been thoroughly considered. The whistle has a high frequency sound that is easily audible to the human ear and can also be heard by rescue dogs. The whistle is made of environmentally and people-friendly materials. It is made from cellulose acetate, a vegetable resin mainly made from cotton.

美しい槌目模様を施した、曲がる錫の靴べら。靴や足に合わせて、形が変わる。素材である純度100%の錫は金属ながら柔らかく、足にも靴にも優しい靴べら。専用の金槌で職人さんが1点1点ずつ手加工。美しい槌目模様に加えて、鍛金のように何度も叩くことによって、耐久度や強度が増している。

Transformable tin shoehorn with a beautiful hammered pattern. It changes shape to suit your shoes and feet. The material, 100% pure tin, is soft despite being metal, making the shoehorn gentle on both feet and shoes. Each piece is hand-processed by craftsmen using a special hammer. In addition to the beautiful hammered pattern, the durability and strength of the material is increased by beating it repeatedly like a forged metal.

日本の伝統であるふすまを活かした、間仕切りホワイトボード。お家でも職場でも、ちょっと仕切って居心地の良い空間に。可愛いふすま柄と実用的なホワイトボードの組み合わせで、インテリアと道具を両立させた。頑丈かつ軽量な襖の部材を使用し、端材を活用することで、素材の無駄も減らしている。卓上用に絶妙なサイズになっており、軽量で持ち運びしやすく、仕事の効率を向上する機能を兼ね備えている。

Partitioning whiteboards that utilise the Japanese tradition of fusuma. Make a cosy space at home or at work by dividing it up a bit. The combination of a cute fusuma pattern and a practical whiteboard makes it both an interior and a tool. This is made of sturdy, lightweight FUSUMA components. This is the perfect size for tabletop use, so it can be carried around easily.

暗闇で光るカラビナクリップ。 太陽や蛍光灯から蓄光し自ら光り、暗所で視認性を高める。夜のアウトドアや防災に加えて、日常生活でも役立つ。端材をリサイクルした樹脂を使用し、蓄光顔料を直接練り込んだ。非常時や夜間など暗い所では物を目立たせたり、挟んだり、吊るすことが必要になる。その際に自ら優しく光ることで、暗所で視認性を高めるカラビナクリップ。

Glowing carabiner clip. It stores light from the sun or fluorescent lamps and glows itself, making it more visible in the dark. The carabiner clip is useful in everyday life as well as for outdoor activities and disaster prevention at night. It is made of 100% resin from recycled scrap wood and directly kneaded with light-storing pigments. In the dark, it is difficult to see where things are, so you want to make the necessary items stand out. Or you want to hang something from it, even when there is no light. Thus, the carabiner clip increases visibility in dark places by glowing gently on its own.

The Balance beam for fun at home. A sense of balance is said to be a necessary ability for all kinds of movement, including standing, sitting, running and jumping. The Balance beam, which helps develop that sense of balance and other skills while playing, has been redesigned to fit in with everyday life. It is exquisitely sized for home use and has a robust structure with a load capacity of 500 kg to last for a long time. Produced by a Toyama-based manufacturer of sports equipment, which has produced more than 30,000 Balance beams for schools.

江戸切子の技術によって、使いやすさと美しさを両立した果汁絞り器。江戸切子によって施された模様自体が絞る構造になっており、その深いカットが小さな力で果汁たっぷり絞りやすくする。江戸切子をカットする道具には様々な角度の道具がある。どの紋様をどの角度の道具でカットを施せば、見た目も良く、効率も良く果汁を絞れるのか。それを追及することで、江戸切子特有の美しさを持つ果汁絞り器が誕生した。オブジェとしても飾ることができ、空間を彩る。お酒好きからお料理好きまで、特別感を演出する果汁絞り器。

The Edo Kiriko juice squeezer is both easy to use and beautiful. The Edo Kiriko pattern itself has a squeezing structure, and its deep cut makes it easy to squeeze out plenty of juice with little force. Edo Kiriko has a variety of cutting tools with different angles. The design was created in pursuit of which pattern and which angle the tool should be used to make the cut, so that the fruit juice can be squeezed out with good appearance and efficiency. A fruit juice squeezer with the unique beauty of Edo Kiriko was born. It can also be displayed as an objet d’art and adds colour to any space. The juice squeezer creates a special feeling for everyone from drinkers to cooks.

アウトドアに特化したカラビナクリップ。挟み口が10mm以上あり、キャップやグローブなど厚みのある物でもしっかり挟める。さらに耐荷重25kgとなっており、重いものでも楽々吊るせる。創業45年の老舗町工場が製作しており、部品や素材も国内産のみを使用している。防弾ガラスにも使われる、耐衝撃性や耐候性などにも優れている高強度樹脂を使用。アウトドアではグローブや帽子など、着け外しすることが多い。ただ外した後そのまま置いておくと、風に飛ばされてしまう。毎回どこかに収納するのも面倒くさい。手荷物は邪魔になる。そんな時に、このカラビナクリップが役立つ。

Outdoor-specific carabiner clips. The clip has an opening of more than 10 mm so that even thick objects such as caps and gloves can be firmly clipped. In addition, it has a load capacity of 25 kg, so even heavy objects can be hung with ease. It is manufactured by a town factory in Aichi, which has been in business for 45 years, and the parts and materials are only made in Japan. It is made from high-strength resin, which is also used in bulletproof glass and has excellent impact and weather resistance. In outdoor activities, gloves and hats are often worn and removed. However, if they are left in place after being removed, they will be blown away by the wind. It is also a hassle to store them somewhere every time and they get in the way of your hand luggage.  This carabiner clip is useful in such cases.

防災やアウトドアなど、非日常に特化したハサミ。刃物の町である岐阜県関市の職人が１本１本丁寧に刃付けをしており、実用的な切れ味鋭いハサミになっている。そして非日常の用途に適した様々な機能を備えている。例えば、持ち手は光るようになっており、夜や暗所でもハサミの場所がすぐにわかる。また分解できるようになっているので、洗いやすく衛生的で、開梱オープナーやナイフとしても使える。さらにプルタブ起こしやペットボトルオープナーという非日常で役立つ機能もついている。

The scissors are specially designed for extraordinary situations such as disaster prevention and outdoor activities. These are carefully bladed by craftsmen in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, the town of cutlery, making the scissors practical and sharp. They are also equipped with various functions suitable for unusual uses. For example, the handles are glowed so that the scissors can be easily located at night or in the dark. They can also be dismantled for easy washing and hygiene and can be used as a knife or unpacking opener.  It also has a pull-tab remover and a plastic bottle opener, which are useful in unusual situations.

光を反射し、自らも光る。伝統技術を活かし、蓄光糸と反射糸を組んだ組紐ブレスレット。反射糸によって光を強く反射し、蓄光糸によって自ら優しく光る。この2つの光によって、夜道や暗所での視認性を高める。また組柄には藤四ツ組（ふじよつぐみ）という、藤の花を模した奈良時代から伝わる伝統的な組み方を採用した。美しく実用的な藤四ツ組は、伸縮性に優れており肌触りも良く、光が引き立つデザインになっている。

Reflects light and glows itself. This bracelet is made from phosphorescent and reflective threads using traditional braided cord technology. The reflective threads reflect light strongly and the phosphorescent threads glow gently themselves. These two types of light increase visibility at night and in dark places. The beautiful and traditional braided pattern ‘Fuji Yotsugumi’ is designed to enhance the light.
